These Terms of Use ("Terms") are a binding agreement between you and the operator of smm.directory (the "site") and govern your access to and use of the site — the blog, the questions and answers, and the tools directory. By accessing or using the site you agree to these Terms, our Privacy Policy and our Disclaimer. If you do not agree, do not use the site. Last updated: 10 July 2026.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old, or the age of digital consent in your country, to use interactive features. By using the site you confirm you can form a binding contract and are not barred from doing so under any applicable law.

2. What you can do

Read every article, answer and tool listing without an account.
Leave a comment, rate a tool with a star vote, write a review, or report a listing that looks wrong.
Submit a platform to the directory for us to review.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

post spam, advertising, or misleading links;
manipulate a tool's rating — voting from multiple identities, coordinated voting, or other artificial or deceptive means (we detect this and freeze the rating while we check it);
post content that is unlawful, defamatory, abusive, threatening, hateful, obscene, deceptive, or that infringes any third party's rights;
impersonate any person, brand or platform, or misrepresent your affiliation;
upload malware, or scrape, overload, probe, or interfere with the site or its security;
use the site in breach of any applicable law or regulation.

4. Your content and licence

You keep ownership of what you submit (reviews, comments, ratings, submissions). By submitting it you grant the operator a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual, irrevocable, sub-licensable licence to host, store, use, reproduce, adapt, publish, translate, display and distribute it in connection with operating and promoting the site. You confirm you have the rights to grant this licence, that your content is accurate to the best of your knowledge and not misleading, and that it does not infringe anyone's rights or break any law. You are solely responsible for your content, and you agree it may be moderated, edited, hidden or removed.

5. Our content

The site, its design, text, graphics, compiled data, rankings and software are owned by or licensed to the operator and protected by intellectual-property laws. You may not copy, scrape, republish, resell or create derivative works from the site or its data, in whole or in part, without our prior written permission. Platform and tool names and marks belong to their respective owners and are used descriptively only.

6. Moderation and enforcement

Comments, reviews and directory submissions are checked before they appear. We may, at our sole discretion and without notice, edit, hide or remove any content, refuse or remove any listing, and suspend or terminate access for anyone who breaks these Terms or where we consider it necessary to protect the site or others. Ratings shown come from visitor votes and our reliability index; how the index works is on the methodology page.

7. Listings and disputes

A directory entry describes a tool for a platform; it does not mean we are affiliated with that platform, and inclusion is not an endorsement. If you run a listed tool and believe its data or rating is wrong, you may dispute it — the process is on the methodology page. We make no guarantee that any listing, rating or datum is accurate or current.

8. Operator-owned listings

The team that operates this directory may also publish and maintain its own tools in the catalogue — including this website. We do not disclose which listings these are, and it makes no difference to how they are treated: operator-owned listings are subject to exactly the same rules, ranking methodology, review moderation and fair-play policy as everyone else. They receive no preferential placement, protected ratings or hidden reviews. If you ever believe a listing is getting special treatment, tell us and we will review it.

9. Advertising

Paid placements (featured slots, sponsor boxes and homepage spotlights) are bought and managed from the advertiser dashboard and appear automatically for the period paid for. Advertising never buys a better rating or hides reviews: sponsored placements are always labelled, and an advertiser's ranking, reviews and reliability data follow exactly the same rules as everyone else. Paid services are additionally governed by our payment terms.

10. Prohibited content

Some things are never allowed here, from anyone — including child sexual abuse material (CSAM), content that sexualises minors, and anything else that is illegal, incites violence, or infringes the rights of others. This applies everywhere on the site: reviews, uploaded images, profiles and submitted listings. We use automated detection (including image hash-matching) together with human moderation. Confirmed CSAM is removed immediately, the account is banned, and we report it to the appropriate authorities — including the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and the Internet Watch Foundation (IWF) — and preserve relevant data for law enforcement where required. We do not disclose the specific detection tools we use. If you ever see anything like this, report it to us right away.

11. Third-party sites

The site links to third-party websites and tools we do not control. We are not responsible for them, and your use of them is at your own risk and subject to their terms. See our Disclaimer.

12. Disclaimers and liability

The site is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, and our liability to you is limited, as set out in full in our Disclaimer, which forms part of these Terms.

13. Indemnity

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless the operator and its owners, officers, contractors and contributors from any claim, loss, liability, cost or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the site, your content, or your breach of these Terms or of any law or third-party right.

14. Suspension and termination

We may suspend, restrict or terminate your access at any time, with or without notice, for any breach of these Terms or where we reasonably consider it necessary. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (including content licence, intellectual property, disclaimers, liability, indemnity and governing law) survive.

15. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. The version published here is the one that applies; continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated Terms.

16. Governing law

These Terms and any dispute arising from them or from your use of the site are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, unless a mandatory law of your country of residence requires otherwise.

17. General

If any provision is found unenforceable, the rest remain in force. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. These Terms, with the Privacy Policy, Disclaimer and (for paid services) the payment terms, are the entire agreement between us on their subject matter.
